The American-Made Placitas bed was designed to capture the spirit of the Southwest. Combining simple lines and a textured sunburst carving makes a bed that will liven up any bedroom. A matching end table will further enhance the Southwest flavor. Available in SOLID OAK OR SOLID MAPLE! Natural oil finish, special water-based finish, or unfinished for your own special touch!

We are proud of our Made-in-America Furniture. We attempt to use all wood scraps and eliminate waste by cutting it up for firewood and furnishing unused wood to local craftsmen.

Our furniture is sent directly to you by FedEx or UPS. You will receive the furniture parts with assembly instructions. Also you may view our “Assembly Instructions” for additional help. Please inquire for links to the easy assembly videos. Due to the size of the product, it is all shipped un-assembled. But do not worry, all you will need is to follow the simple instructions and have a hammer and screw driver for assembly.

All of our products come standard with a hand rubbed natural Danish oil finish – Watco brand. The Danish oil soaks into the wood, dries and creates a durable finish in the wood itself. Danish oil is not a surface finish like lacquer or polyurethane which, when damaged, is very difficult to repair. If there is a scratch or scuff in our product a little sandpaper followed by a bit of Danish oil is all that is needed to bring the wood back to its original appearance. The oil seals the wood to keep any stains from penetrating the wood.

Or you may choose to order your bed Unfinished or with a Tried & True Natural Danish Oil which is free of chemical dryers. We also offer a Dark Walnut Stain on the Oak wood only.

Nomad Furniture beds have a sturdy slat system to provide firm support when combined with a good mattress. The slat system removes the need for a box spring and thus lowers the bed to a comfortable height. Many different heights are offered to fit your particular mattress thickness and preference for overall height. All of our beds are easy to both assemble and later disassemble for moving. Our beds are very sturdy. It is easy to move the bed as a whole, just turn the bed on its side, and move it through doorways to other rooms. You can rest on our assurance of a good nights sleep.

Tables and Under bed Drawers are optional additions to be added if you want them. Some are pictured here, others may be available. Please inquire if you have a specific need.

All Nomad beds are available in American red oak or hard maple. Please choose the options you require.
