Mattresses are not a one size fits all sort of item. Ultimately, you are going to have to decide what is best for you. We are completely dedicated to serving the mattress needs of people, so we have compiled this guide to ensure that you have the best sleeping arrangements you can possibly have.

Twin

This is the smallest of all mattresses available. Twin mattresses can accommodate an adult. If you are particularly tall, as in over six feet, this may not be the ideal choice for you. On the whole, this bed is most comfortable if you are under 5’6. When space is at an absolute premium, this is the way to go. That means that if you have a studio apartment, a twin may be the optimum choice.

Twin XL

A twin XL mattress is five inches longer than a twin mattress. While that does not sound like a significant difference, it can mean quite a lot for those of us on the taller side. Like its smaller cousin, the twin, this is best for when living space is not that expansive. For example, this might be the best choice in a college dorm.

Full

Some people call this type of mattress a double. Full mattresses or double mattresses have the same length as twins, but they are 15 inches wider. Even if it is a bit wider, this is not recommended for couples. We recommend this for guest rooms, or kids who would like some space to grow into. A young adult might also find this mattress to be the best. Similar to a twin, there is also an XL size, for those who need additional length.

Queen

This size of mattress is the most popular. Two people can comfortably sleep on a queen size bed, but the addition of more people or pets might make it uncomfortable. A room needs to be at least 10 by 10 square feet for a queen-sized bed to fit comfortably.

King

This is also known as a standard king or an eastern king. A king’s width is the exact same as two twin-sized mattresses pushed together. When a couple has enough space, this is the way to go. You can even fit a child or two, or a large pet. It may be a good idea to measure your bedroom as precisely as possible to ensure that it is capacious enough for one of these.

California King

A California king is four inches longer than a standard king, you lose four inches in width. That means that this is the optimal choice for tall people. Like its standard brother, you can fit a couple on a king, plus a child or two and a pet. Also similar to a king, you might want to measure your bedroom before you acquire one of these.

Some people do not mind a reduction in living space, as long as they have more space for sleeping. The inverse is also true. If you have any questions about mattress size, please inform us.
